Hi I'm Margie

I'm a wife, a mother, music lover, a theater costumer, and I do show quality upholstery on Hot Rods. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up on the Mojave Desert and was always active in music (singing) in school. Went to college and to Cosmetology school. I'm a wife, a mother and grandmother of the best kids. I taught and did costuming for a community college theater program for several years. Have opened and ran two different businesses, one was a candy shop and the one I am doing now is upholstery of show quality Hot Rods, mostly for my husband who likes to build them. Have always been creative with everything from the home and yard to where I have worked.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a second generation member of the church. Where I grew up on the Mojave Desert my father was the branch president for 20+ years, church was held for a lot of years in our home. I learned great lessons from my parents on service and love of all people in our small community. I gained a deep love of our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ by study and living what was taught in the scriptures. The GREATEST COMMANDMENT that Jesus taught was to "LOVE ONE ANOTHER". As I gew older and had to face challenges and opposition along the way - Study and prayer helped me gain the testomony that I continue to nourish to this day. The gospel of Jesus Christ is simple and every good choice that I make helps me grow closer to my Heavenly Father and brings joy and happiness into my life by living correct principles of the gospel.

How I live my faith

For most of my teen years, I served as a children's music leader and teacher. I served on several committees in college. While as an adult I have served in several callings either in leadership of children or for the young women. Music has always played a big part for most of my life. I have lead music for congregations, choirs and childrens groups. Taught lessons for the womens group on being prepared or just fun projects. In the community I have served as a Newsletter editor for a local Vintage Car Club for many years and tried to set an example of a Christ like attitude. Have also served as a Car Show Chairperson for several shows working with a committee to welcome people from other cities to our community in a gracious manner. I currently serve as a Ward Missionary, lead the music in Sacrament meeting and sing in the choir.
