Hi I'm Julie

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was raised in Texas and went to college in Utah. I met my husband when I came home one summer and now have been married 6 years. We now have two adorable little munchkins who I am blessed to be able to stay at home with every day. My passion on the side is baking. When my kids are grown I hope to one day be able to share my passion for a living in some way or another; until then, there is nothing else I would rather do than take care of my family.

Why I am a Mormon

My mother was raised in the church and my father was a convert. As a result I was raised in a loving home and was taught the Gospel of Jesus Christ all of my life. As a teenager I better understood what a testimony was and was able to find out for myself that the Church was true. I went to the Lord in prayer and asked if the principles and teaching that I had been taught growing up were true. I can never deny the answer that I received. I know that I have a loving Father in Heaven and that Jesus Christ is my Savior who died for me and my sins. He know what I go through each and every day and is there for me. I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet who restored the Gospel in these latter days. I know that he overcame many trials and persecutions and remained strong in his testimony and faith. If he can do it, I know that I can too. I am grateful for the knowledge that I have and hope to one day be worthy to live with my Father in Heaven and Savior again.

How I live my faith

I try to be the best person that I can each and everyday. I try and be a good example to my children and those around me. Sometimes I slip up and make wrong choices, but that is when I make it right, and move forward. I try to live the principles of the Gospel and follow my Savior's example each and everyday. At church I am able to teach the women through talks that we receive from our prophet and other leaders of our church. I always feel like I learn more from the other women's thoughts and insights than they learn from me. It has been a great learning experience.
