Hi I'm Jason Siemers

I am a computer nerd, super hero, and a cool dad. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am not afraid to admit I am a kid at heart. I collect comics, watch cartoons, and dress up on Halloween. I am lucky enough to have kids that think that those things make me a cool dad, and aren't totally embarrassed by me. I spend most Saturdays taking my girls to the comic shop to pick out their own comics, passing on the tradition to them and providing me with a great opportunity for special time with them. I am learning to sew, in a manly way... in order to create costumes for comic conventions and Halloween. I have created two different Green Lantern costumes, SG 1, Robin Hood and look forward to getting into shape to pull off Superman and He-Man one day. I am learning to build molds to create armor and masks. I am a computer nerd, and with a wife that is not so computer savvy, I am finding it comes in quite handy. Having just purchased our first house, I am learning to love to work with my hands and build things. I have about three good story plots jumbling around in my head at any given moment in time and would love to compile a short story, if for no other reason then for my kids to read. I love to cook when I am inspired but am glad I don't have to do it every night.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the Church but am finding my true testimony is strengthened through teaching the gospel to my children.

How I live my faith

I served a two year mission in Minnesota with the Hmong people and quickly grew to love the people and really enjoyed their culture. Now I am the Scout Leader to the 11 year old boys.
