Hi I'm Danika

I'm a wife and a mom. I'm a nurse. I love sports and anything crafty. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Although I have a nursing degree, I am a stay-at-home mom to three great kids! I love to read, play sports (especially soccer!), and do anything crafty. I LOVE LOVE junk food and eat way too much of it!

Why I am a Mormon

I've been LDS my whole life, like my mom and her parents before her. This church just makes sense and is organized in such a way that I know God is behind it. The feeling I get every Sunday when I am at church I cannot receive any other way. I know it is important to go to the temple and am so glad my husband and I were married there so that we can be a forever family. I know that prayer works, that there is someone listening when I pray. I know that God knows me better than anyone and wants what's best for me. I know when we choose the right and live the way we should, all things work together for our good. I know Jesus died for us so that we can one day live with him again and for that I will always be grateful.

How I live my faith

I have had many callings including: choir pianist, activities committee, nursery teacher (kids 18 months-2 years), youth teacher to an amazing group of 12-13 year-olds. I just received a calling to be teacher to the women one Sunday a month.

What do Mormons believe is the purpose of life?

It is a time for us to be tested and to prepare so that we can one day live with God again. To do this we must keep the commandments. Commandments are meant for our happiness. They aren't restrictions! Show more Show less
