Hi I'm Jessica

I was born and raised in Indiana. I'm a work in progress. I study web design & I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I am a college student and proud wife to my new husband! I study web design & development, and LOVE learning every part of it! I play guitar from time to time and love to sing! I also love to laugh, and I am definitely easily amused! I love exercise! It is one of the best feelings working your heart out and giving your body some TLC! Saving the best for last: I love my family! I have an older brother and an older sister, who are both amazing. I have the best parents ever! I have a wonderful, caring husband and his family that has more than welcomed me in. Spending time with family has always been important to me, and continually strengthening those relationships is a daily thing in my home!

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member all my life, and I continue to follow this gospel because I know that in order to have true happiness in the eternities, I have to follow Christ in this life. In order to reach my full potential and progress towards being more like my Heavenly Father, I had to be baptized by someone holding the correct authority of God. I'm a Mormon because I know that this church is the only way I can take the necessary steps in order to qualify for eternal life with my family. I love my family, and want to live with them forever. I know that it is this gospel that has the fulness of truth that we all need to be saved in the Kingdom of Heaven. I'm a Mormon because I know and feel in my heart that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the one and only true church here upon the earth, and I have come to this knowledge because I have prayed about it and received answers through the Holy Ghost.

How I live my faith

I served as a missionary in the Massachusetts Boston Mission for 18 months. I had the wonderful opportunity to find people and share with them the message of the restored gospel of Jesus Christ. I got to wear the name of Jesus Christ right below my name on a tag I wore everyday, and it was a daily reminder of how close the Savior is to me. It was truly a privilege! Now that I am home, I strive to continue sharing the Gospel with family and friends, and even strangers! I read from the scriptures and pray every day so that I can continually receive the guidance from my Heavenly Father. I also visit other women in my congregation with another girl as visiting teachers. We get to share a spiritual thought with them and help strengthen them spiritually in their own home.
