Hi I'm Bryan

I was born in Arizona and graduated high school from Chandler. I have been in the US Army since 2002, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently In the US army and have been on 3 deployments to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2003/2004 for the initial invasion and again in 2005/2006 and Operation New Dawn in 2010/2011. I am a father of one and soon will be a father of two when my wife gives birth to our second child. I have been married for 9 years and we are very happy and try to enjoy as much family time as we can.

Why I am a Mormon

I have always believed in god and Jesus Christ but found it hard to find a church that i could believe in. I have been to several different churches and i did not get a sense of truth from any of them. I come from a family of mainly Catholics and growing up i always found it more of a chore to go to church with them. From the first time i walked into my Ward i felt at home and knew there was something great about the church. For so long i have felt that i spiritually was lost. I am in the infantry in the army and have done somethings i thought i could never be forgiven for and all of it weighed heavy on me. My sister in-law married a member of the church and was soon baptized into the church after. As i watched her family grow and saw the many blessings they have received my wife and i began to ask about the church and investigate the truth they knew. After my third Combat deployment my wife and i began to investigate the church and seek the truth.

How I live my faith

As a new member of the church i have not yet received a calling. I have been ordained a priest and try to bless the Sacrament and pass sacrament as much as i can on Sundays. My wife and i have home teachers come out every week to help us continue our learning.
