Hi I'm Brittany

I grew up in Nebraska. I love to run. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I was born in Missouri. Adopted at age 4 with my older sister. I'm studying Exercise Physiology at BYU-Idaho. I love spending time with my family when I'm off track and with my friends when I have the chance.

Why I am a Mormon

I've had the gospel in my life since I was adopted, growing up with the church has been a huge blessing in my life. Growing up living the gospel seemed easy because both my parents were both righteous church members and to me when I was younger it seemed easy to be a Mormon. As I entered into High School I started to understand it wasn't. With the help of my parents I was able to get through my troubled times. It wasn't until my senior year of High School that I was truly tested. My mother died 3 weeks into my senior year and I was a lost cause. Instead of turning towards the church and the Lord for help I turned away. I fell into peer pressure and did things I'm not proud of thinking that it would help ease the pain of losing my mom. I was wrong. My life was spinning out of control and I couldn't figure why. I struggled terribly and wanted to quit and just give up. But I learned that Heavenly Father doesn't give up on any of his children regardless of how bad you think you've messed up. I have since then turned my life around I still struggle at times but with the help of the Lord I know I can get through these troubled times. I am so grateful for the church and the blessings it has brought into my life. I am also grateful for my parents taking my siblings and I to the temple and having us sealed to them for all time and eternity, and knowing that one day I will be able to see my mother again.

How I live my faith

I help teach the younger children at church sometimes and I love every minute of it. I try to set an example for others around me and stand up for what I believe in. No I'm not perfect, and yes at times I have failed to be a good example.
