Hi I'm Charles

I was born and raised in San Antonio Texas. Full time student and worker. Living each day in the gospel. I'm a full time mormon.

About Me

My name is Charles, but I'm also known as Charlie. I'm a full time college student and I also work for a distinguished shoe store. I love to be with family most of the time as well as writing stories, and poems. I enjoy reading the scriptures as well as romance, mystery, science fiction, fantasy, and crime novels and short stories. I like to workout and participate in any type of martial arts or boxing sport or anything physically challenging. I am very involved in music as far as playing, listening and writing it. God and family are my number one priorities and I like to live my life as honorably as possible.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church and feel very blessed to be able to have always had it in my life. I couldn't see my life without the church. Since a child, listening to the teachings of the gospel, I was always intrigued and fascinated with the words of our prophets and the words of God. As I began to take a practice in praying intently to our heavenly father, I came to realize how true the church was. It's a very distinctive feeling, a feeling of peace and overwhelming warmth. As I grew older, the need to pray was always present and the desire to study the scriptures was intensified. Although of course, no one is exempt from trials and it was consistently hard to deal with them, however, through the power of prayer and faith I was able to over come and realize that the lord was and is always with me and would never forsake me. I have had countless questions answered through the power of prayer and reading the scriptures so I know this church is true and that Joseph Smith was a true prophet of God. Each day, I try and to live my life through the gospel and strengthen my relationship with God, and at time it is hard, I hold true to the teachings.

How I live my faith

I often get stopped by friends and family and asked questions about the church. I try to the best of my abilities to answer, and explain our religion, views and standards we uphold and what makes me different. I take the practice of giving blessings to those who are in need whether they are sick, emotionally distraught or just need uplifting. I participate in church activities when I can and try to be an example not only to those outside the church but to those inside the church as well.
