Hi I'm Eric Petersen

I'm happy, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Eric I was born and raised in Clinton Utah, I enjoy playing sports, reading, listening to music, hanging out with my friends, singing and playing guitar, and going to movies. I'm a student and I love to learn new things currently I am learning to speak Spanish and I really enjoy it. I`m an Eagle Scout and played football in high school. I am a huge nerd, I have read all the Harry Potter books and I LOVE Shakespeare, but I also love to be athletic be outdoors going hiking, fishing, camping and hunting. I`m a huge fan of Star Wars, Harry Potter, Batman, and Captain America. I currently live in Durango México serving as a full time missionary.

Why I am a Mormon

Growing up I was raised in the faith, and had lots of great friends, my friends were for me, a great example. They all served missions and inspired me to obtain a testimony and serve a mission myself. As I was younger like many other youth of the church I realized that I did not have a testimony of the church. This bothered me for years and made me really look at what is the church and why I am apart of it. I never recived a giant answer at once but my answer came slowy. I just grew to understand why the church is true. Its true because there is no other answer. The Bible says that we should prove all things. Thats what I did. Just living the Gospel of Jesus Christ was my answer. This church has brought me more happiness then any other thing on the planet. I know that it's true.

How I live my faith

Everyday I try to magnify my calling and become more Christ-like, all I want to do is to serve others and develope charity the pure love of Christ. I just try to live as he would and do unto others as I would have them do unto me. I look for every oppurtunity to share my beliefs and answer questions.
