Hi I'm Megan

I am a hair stylist. I am also a professional actress and singer. I love to boogie board! I'm a Mormon.

About Me

The most interesting thing about my life right now is my one year old daughter. She keeps me on my toes and I love seeing her learn and grow. My interests range from the latest fashions in hair styling and runway, to which musical theatrical production I want to be involved in next to what new color I want to paint the walls of my house. I love skiing, I love playing in the ocean with my family, and I love to see the world. I like to volunteer with organizations like the American Cancer Society and Make a Wish Foundation and feel we all need a way to give back to the people in our communities. I have literally been to 5 colleges and/or universities in the past years trying to get my degree in Theater. I have 1 semester left!! I really should've become a doctor... It may have taken less time...

Why I am a Mormon

Every member of the church has to be converted at some point. I was born into an LDS family and so had to learn for myself what it meant to be Mormon. As we grow in learning about the Gospel, we rely on the testimonies of others, like our parents, until we are old enough to decide for ourselves whether or not we believe what our parents have taught us. As I grew into adulthood, my love of the Gospel grew through study of the Book of Mormon and its teachings. I remember as a teenager wanting to stay up and read, even if it was just a few verses because I had begun to understand how the Spirit can light a fire in our hearts. I started to really understand the remarkable teachings of Jesus Christ. I loved the feeling I got when I read the Book of Mormon. I felt that the Lord was with me as I lived its teachings and gained a testimony which, to this day, has not failed me. I remain an avid follower of the teachings of Jesus Christ in the Bible and in the Book of Mormon because I have had the Holy Spirit testify of its truthfulness and I have seen the positive influence it has given my life and the lives of my friends and family. I know the fullness of the Gospel has been restored through the prophet Joseph Smith and that through the knowledge gained through reading the Book of Mormon along with the Gospel, we have been given a sure path to exaltation and eternal life by living its teachings and the teachings of modern day prophets. That is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I am the President of the Primary children (Ages 2-11) which means that with the help of a secretary and two councilors, I help to organize the nursery, scouting, activities, weekly events and the teaching of all the children in the ward. I participate in teaching my assigned women through visiting teaching and try to help out wherever else I'm needed.
