Hi I'm Jeff

I am an amateur musician and I work as a water engineer, in an effort to keep our water supplies clean and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy many different kinds of music, from bluegrass to independent label music. I am recently married (4 years) and I have a 1 year old daughter. I come from a large family in Southern California. My father worked for JPL on the Voyager I and II projects as well as the Cassini project, all unmanned missions to other planets in our solar system. I now work as a consulting engineer on many various water projects in an effort to help clients find solutions to complicated water supply and water treatment alternatives. Most importantly, I love my free time with my family and friends and my extended family also. Although I enjoy my work, my family is the most important thing to me and the reason I work is so I can continue to enjoy and support them and create a future for them.

Why I am a Mormon

As I mentioned my Father was an astrophysicist for JPL. He is one of the smartest people I know and one of the reasons have been able to continue to be faithful. I often tend to be quite skeptical of many things. As I learned more about science and engineering, I often questioned whether there was a God. However, the more knowledge I gain, the more I realize I don't know and the more I need to rely on my faith to survive. It is not weak or simple minded, but an acknowledgement that I need God.

How I live my faith

I love being involved in something I know is important and that helps so many people worldwide. I love the opportunity to be a good influence on my family and friends. I have seen how God has blessed my life and nothing gives me more pleasure than to help others out in the same sort of way.
