Hi I'm TJ Hughes

I'm a student, a tennis player, a musician, a convert to the church and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a senior in high school who loves the Gospel more than anything. I am a convert who was baptized December 18th, 2009. I am the only member in my family which is sometimes sad but it can also be a blessing by giving me the opportunity to teach my family. I have a twin sister and a younger sister. I was the first Mormon to win homecoming king at my school (Non-member friends say). I am also the captain of the tennis team at my school and I participate in our High Schools Marching Band.

Why I am a Mormon

I was introduced to the Church through one of my Bishop's daughter. I was taught by missionaries who were very caring and always carried the spirit. I learned about the Book of Mormon and The Prophet Joseph Smith. I have prayed personally to find out whether the Gospel was true and my answer wasn't directly but I knew what the answer would be. The Gospel has changed my life and those around me.

How I live my faith

I attend my Church meetings almost every Sunday. The Young Men in our Ward are very strong and we are all going to be great missionaries one day. Reading the Scriptures and praying daily has greatly blessed my life and it keeps the Spirit with me. Attending seminary is also something that will change the entire course of my day and keep my mind more Christ-Centered.
