Hi I'm Nathan

I love agriculture, basketball, and tennis. I'm a student. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. My parents always taught me and my siblings to live the Gospel. I enjoy playing basketball and tennis, especially with my siblings who all play as well. Family is an extremely important part of my life. I have many cousins who I was raised with and who are my very best friends as well. I'm a student at a wonderful University in Idaho where I am working towards graduating in Agronomy.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints because I firmly believe that this church is the primitive church of Christ restored in our days. By living what I am taught here, I am constantly improving and becoming a more Christ-like disciple. Whenever I do make a mistake, I know that through the Atonement of the Savior, I can always repent and put my life back on the correct path. I know that our Heavenly Father, and His Son, Jesus Christ, want us all to succeed and be happy here on the earth. I know that they love us and constantly are blessing us for our efforts. I have a large family, both immediate and extended. A promise that the Lord has given not just to us, but to every person on the earth, is the blessing of having an eternal family. I love my family, and desire to be with them forever. This blessing is true if we live a faithful life according to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I'm so grateful for His love, that I constantly can see in my life.

How I live my faith

In August of 2013, I returned home from serving a mission in Fortaleza, Brazil. It was an enormous blessing in my life to see others change their lives and accept Jesus Christ as our Savior by committing to follow His teachings and keep His commandments. My mission greatly helped me to understand the Gospel of our Savior better as well. Here at college, I have many opportunities to serve others. I serve by visiting an assigned group of students and teaching them a message given by a modern day Prophet, as well as being available to serve them according to any needs that they may have. I have found that service, especially when unrecognized by the public, brings a great deal of happiness to not only those being served, but to the one who is serving as well.
