Hi I'm Pat

I'm a wife, a mother, a grandmother, a family therapist and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a wife, a mother, a grandmother, and a family therapist. I love to enjoy riding my horse with my husband. And I also volunteer on a local hospital board, and a board for the court system.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents and younger sister first became acquainted with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (The Mormons) at the New York World's Fair. They then had the missionary discussions and joined the church. At this time I was in my early twenties and somewhat disillusioned with other churches. I had tried many, because I was looking for a religion that had sincere meaning and depth to it. I wanted that in my life...a true anchor. After taking the missionary discussions, I realized that I had found what I was searching for and was baptized. That was over forty years ago and there's never been a moment of regret.....only many moments, days, weeks and years, of true blessings.

How I live my faith

My husband and I visit couples from church on a monthly basis and I also visit some women from church with another woman from church as a partner. That way everyone in church is checked on to see how they are doing and everyone is cared for. I have had a lot of opportunities to serve in the church. Currently, I am teaching a marital enrichment class with my husband. I also enjoy attending the women's group and the activities that they have.
