Hi I'm Travis

I work as an HVAC technician by day and a graduate research assistant reading brainwaves by night. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Arizona and served a full time mission in Russia for the LDS church. There I was able to achieve fluency in Russian and build friendships with a variety of amazing people. Not long after returning home from my mission I met my wife and later married. My wife and I were blessed with a rambunctious boy. I recently graduated with a bachelor's degree in Business. I am currently working with a group of Professors and Graduate students using an EEG (electroencephalogram) to understand the inner workings of the brains of executive and military leaders. I enjoy camping, hunting, and tossing around the old pigskin with friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I feel the love of God as I follow the precepts of the church. I have both read and prayed about the Book of Mormon and felt the reassurance of the Holy Ghost testifying to me that it is true. When I hear the words of a living prophet I also feel the love of God and His concern for each human being on this earth individually. I am so grateful to be a part of this Church. I know that it is true. I also know that any person seeking truth can ask of God and he will answer.

How I live my faith

I am a youth Sunday School teacher in my ward. I greatly enjoy the energy and enthusiasm which they have concerning the Gospel of Jesus Christ. On Sundays I am able to teach them from the Holy Scriptures the teaching of prophets. They constantly amaze me at their knowledge concerning those teachings. They are outstanding young men and young women who bravely face a world full of uncertainty.
