Hi I'm Ed

I'm a family man, and I love boats and motorcycles. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I live in the Pacific Northwest with my wife and family. We are a mixed family of six children and two happy parents. We love living in the Pacific Northwest because we are so close to so many of natures wonders. We love to boat in Puget Sound and in the San Juan Islands. It's also a great place to go motorcycling...one of life's great pleasures. The clean air, tall trees, beautiful mountains, and water make this a great place to live.

Why I am a Mormon

I believe there is a God, who is our father in heaven. I believe he loves us and has a plan for us. For me, life has purpose and meaning and I believe our Heavenly Father wants us to understand that purpose so we can use our time on earth for our growth and development. I also believe he wants us to come back to live with him once this life is over so he has provided a plan so that we can. That plan is the gospel of Jesus Christ as taught by Him during his earthly ministry, and conveyed to us through the holy scriptures. It's also a plan that is led and directed by a prophet who lives among us today. He is a man who receives revelation from our Heavenly Father to ensure we stay true to the plan that Jesus Christ outlined for us. I love being a member of His church because I can stay close to him and ensure that I have everything I need to follow His plan and gospel. As a father, I can't think of anything more valuable I could give my children than this knowledge: they have a heavenly father who loves them, so He sent his son, Jesus Christ, to ensure there would be a way to return and live with him someday. That's why I'm a Mormon!

How I live my faith

Living your faith means being true to your convictions. Once the Holy Ghost has testified to you of the truthfulness of the gospel, you feel compelled to live the gospel to your best ability and rely on faith to make up for the rest. Being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the best way to express my faith because it teaches me the true principles of the gospel and provides many opportunities to grow through service. And, I love teaching the gospel to others.
