Hi I'm Lisa

I am a software trainer for a dental practice management package. I’ve worked in all 50 states, and I love to see new places.

About Me

I am a software trainer for a dental practice management package. I work often with the Native American population in the Indian Health Service dental clinics. I love to travel, especially abroad. I’ve worked in all 50 states, and I love to see new things and new places. I’ve met so many wonderful people in my travels. I’m a wife, a mother and a grandmother, and I’m a Mormon. I grew up in southern California. My parents were awesome parents. Though members of the LDS church, they did not often participate. As a teenager, I made a conscious decision that I wanted to be involved in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I attended church alone, and did everything I could to be a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I attended BYU, where I met and married my husband. We are the parents of 5 wonderful children, and we currently have 20 grandchildren. Our family is our joy and our hope.

Why I am a Mormon

The Gospel of Jesus Christ is "Good News" indeed. Christ's Atonement allows us to become better people, and more importantly, to become like Him. He has a plan, and we are part of it. We have responsibilities in that plan, and our obedience will bring us true happiness. I believe that our Heavenly Father knows each of us on a very personal level. He knows our weaknesses and our strengths. I believe the depth and breadth of His love is infinite, and that it was manifest in the sacrifice of His son, Jesus Christ. I'm a Mormon because I know it's true. This IS the way to return to Him.

How I live my faith

I have truly enjoyed teaching my fellow members of the church. We serve each other by volunteering our time teaching, organizing, and watching over each other. My goal each day is to be kind to everyone with whom I come in contact. My goal each day is to be a good example. I hope that people who work with me know that I am a Christian, and that my behavior is evidence of my belief in the Savior. My goal each day is to better than I was the day before.
