Hi I'm Sierra

I was born in a family of 7 children. I love to do crafts and serve others and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I come from a family of nine people. My parents divorced before I reached high school and have had to work to pay for anything I wanted, such as paying for my tuition. Even though it is hard work, it makes me appreciate what I have so much more. I have a love for all crafts including: crochet, knit, scrapbook, and sewing. I also love being in the kitchen, whether it's to cook or bake, or to chow down.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born in the church. At first going to church started off as something I did every Sunday, like waking up every morning, I just did it. Then there came a point where I couldn't imagine where I would be without the gospel in my life. Being a member of this church has helped me realize who I am and the potential I carry within me if I will just listen and obey the counsels of my local and worldwide leaders.

How I live my faith

I am about to go serve a mission and cannot wait. I know it is my calling to go and serve the people I am assigned to. I also serve a few ladies in my ward every month, making sure they are okay and their family is doing well.

What is being a Mormon like?

Being a Mormon is amazing. There is a network that exists unlike any other organization I know of. There is a feeling of love and gratitude no matter where you go or if you know them. Because we know our purpose and our Heavenly Father's plan we act accordingly. We know without a doubt that we are all brothers and sisters. Being a Mormon gives us all to serve each other whether they are of our faith or not. Because of the happiness we receive from having this knowledge we want to share it with the world, to scream it from the rooftops and reach out to others so they too can share in our happiness. What will the Mormon missionaries talk about when they visit my home?

When Missionaries come to your home, it is to share the sacred and powerful message of Jesus Christ and His Atonement. They teach about the plan that Heavenly Father has created for us to return to Him and how we can show our commitment to Him each day. Show more Show less
