Hi I'm rachel

I grew up in Arizona. I am in school right now and i am a Mormon.

About Me

I am the oldest child of 4 kids. There are 2 boys and 2 girls in my family. My parents are still together. I am a teenager still in high school. My passion is dance. Jazz is my favorite. l enjoy camping and outdoor activities. Just like every other teenager i am trying to fit in and get through all the trials. My friends and I like to watch A LOT of movies, play sports and just try new things. My family is very close, especially my extended family.

Why I am a Mormon

why am i a Mormon? i have had many people ask me this question. If i was not LDS i do not know where i would be in my life nor do i want to know. i am who i am because of the gosspil. Being Mormon has helped me understand why i am here and what my purpose is. i know that we each have a divine role to play on this earth. It is wonderful that no matter what i will always have someone there for me. God has sent angels here to comfort us and guide us. When we make a mistake we can repent for it because of Christ atoning for our sins. i know Joseph Smith was a true prophet and translated a true book. why am i a Mormon? Because i know its the right church.

How I live my faith

Right now in the church i do not have a calling. Although i have had one. I was previously a president of two of the divisions of the young woman. It was great to be able to help and serve the girls. We have activities almost every week and had the importunity to help plan some of them. It is always fun coming and interacting with the youth of the church. We can forget about the rest of the world for a few hours and just have fun with some of the youth with the same beliefs. I am also involved in seminary. Seminary is a class that you take in your high school years where you go and learn more about the gosspil in more depth. I have learned a lot of things that i didn't know until seminary.
