Hi I'm Jill

I'm a Southern Belle, a future businesswoman, a wife, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love Ultimate Frisbee. I'm horrible at it, as well as several other sports, but I really try to do my best! I love listening to music, singing, dancing, watching movies, and having quote offs with my sister. I'm crazy competitive, so when my sister and I play board games, you better watch out! I love having a good time with my friends, and I love getting to be with my family. When all of us are together, it's so much fun! I love them so much, and I'm grateful for them every single day.

Why I am a Mormon

There's really only one way for me to answer this question. I read the Book of Mormon. It took me a while. I was born and raised in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, but it wasn't until I was in high school that I read the Book of Mormon. After I did, there was no doubt in my mind that this Gospel is true. Everything just made so much sense, and I feel like it really does go hand in hand with the Holy Bible. I am a Mormon because I love the promises that I have received. I love the things that this church teaches me. I am thankful that I am able to be a member of this amazing religion, and that I have the opportunity to share my love for my Savior and Redeemer through my testimony. I know this church is true, and I know that my Savior Jesus Christ loves me. I know that He was willing to come to the earth as a sacrifice, just so I wouldn't have to suffer for my sins. I know that my Father in Heaven loves me. I know that I can live with Him again someday.

How I live my faith

I always try to keep my Savior Jesus Christ in my thoughts. When I am able to invite His spirit into my life, it is so much easier to live my faith. I know that I am doing what is right, and I feel His love for me every single day through countless blessings. I try to pattern my own actions after Him, and even though it is hard, it has been what helps me the most. It is important to me to remember my Savior in everything that I do, and that is how I live my faith.
