Hi I'm Tonya

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a mother - and yes, that means I spend most of my time in the car driving from Scouts to Dance to Band to Orchestra to... well, the activity of the week... but I wouldn't change it. #1 - I love my kids & #2 - I get in a lot of good reading time with this arrangement :)

Why I am a Mormon

My family started going to church when I was in Jr. Primary... I really don't remember our Sundays being anything but devoted to church... I don't mean that I go out of habit though - because the truth is. I go to church each week because I love the renewal I get while there, I love the associations with my fellow Saints, I love the Spirit I feel... What it comes down to is this though - the Gospel is true... and more than anything that keeps me wanting to be a part of it.

How I live my faith

The most important place I live my faith is in my home - with my own children. I count it as a great privilege and responsibility to raise these children to know of their Divine potential. The small things we do at home (prayer, scripture study, family lessons) are my contribution to my children growing into adults who will treat their fellow men with respect and act as their Heavenly Father would like them to. I fully enjoy my church calling to work with the young women - through the years I have been able to work with music, the young children, the scouts... and each opportunity has taught me more about the Gospel, about obedience, and about myself.
