Hi I'm Tami

I am a mother of 3 grown children, 2 grandchildren and I am a convert to the church. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mother of 3 grown children. I had the time of my life raising my kids and being a part of the activities that they did. Time sure goes by fast when I look back now. I am grateful to have the gospel as a part of my life and having raised my children in the gospel. I am now working at the local high school and have the opportunity to share with High School age children my love of life. I love to garden, cook, and walk.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the church because of great neighbors when I was 10 years old. I attended primary with their children when it was afterschool primary and I then was invited to particpate in a program on Sunday. I asked and my brother and I both participated in the program and my parents attended. Our family then started to take the missionary discussions and my Mom and I were baptized, then a few months later my brother and my Dad were baptized. Not too long after that we were sealed as family and I have been an active member ever since. I am grateful for the significant role that it plays in my life. I am grateful to know that I have a Father in Heaven who loves me. I know that we have prophet on this earth today. I know that if we follow His commandments we can return to live with him again.

How I live my faith

I am currently involved with the Youth in teaching Sunday School. I love to Visit teach and have have great sisters that I visit each month. I am grateful to have the sisterhood in the gospel. I take on special projects and love to serve others. I think the youth are our most worthwhile investment in the future. As we teach the youth we are teaching our future. We need to give them the support so they can make through lifes trials.
