Hi I'm Andrea

I live in Arizona. I love family. I love kindergarten and I love holidays! I am a Mormon.

About Me

We have raised our kids and my husband and I are working our last few years before we retire. We are both in education and I have enjoyed 37 years of 5 & 6 year olds! I am grammie to my beautiful grandchildren and they are my lifeblood. I love to read and work in the yard. I enjoy road trips with my husband and roaming around "junk" stores. I have fun with my family( both my own children and their spouses and my siblings and mother.) Each new year is the best year of my life! I love holidays and celebrations! Let's have a party!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I had a wonderful family and my parents loved the Savior. Through their selfless examples and the examples of my grandparents I studied and learned the teachings of Jesus. I received a witness to the truthfulness of the gospel at an early age and through trial and error have tried to be a good member of the Mormon Church. I have had the opportunity to serve the children, the youth and women of all ages through various assignments in the church and in each of these my knowledge has grown and my testimony has been strengthened, The church has given me an anchor at times in my life when I tended to drift. Having a testimony of the Gospel of Jesus Christ helped me raise my children through some difficult times, and has brought peace and unity into my marriage. The Atonement of the Savior Jesus Christ has given me hope and faith that I can return to my loving Father in Heaven and be an eternal family. It is my desire that all my posterity have the opportunity to learn of the Savior and to have the fullness of the gospel in their lives. I love the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith each day. I pray with gratitude each morning as I kneel with my husband. We ask for guidance and direction in the things we do and say each day. We pray for our family, our community and our nation. We pray for opportunities to be of service and to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ. As we go to work we try to be kind and considerate of our peers and have the Holy Ghost be our companion throughout the day to help us in the choices we make. I am currently teaching the strengthening marriage and family class in Sunday school. This is out of my comfort zone. I have always been at ease with the little children and spent many years in leadership with the teenage girls in our area, so teaching other "adults" is an "experience" for me. I rely on faith and prayer to get me through my lessons. It is interesting how much I still have to learn after a lifetime of over sixty years in the church. I like to talk about religion with my coworkers and friends. There are many misunderstandings about my beliefs and I enjoy helping others understand the truth of who I am and what I believe. I have had spiritual faith promoting experiences that are dear to me and I have found the more I serve in my neighborhood and community the more I am able to feel the love of my Savior. Being a Mormon is a lot of work with a lot of blessings!
