Hi I'm Jeff

I have lived many places in the US and overseas. I am in the Air Force Reserves. I am an Optometrist and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am married to a wonderful wife who is a school teacher. I have 3 wonderful children, one on an LDS mission, one high school and one in junior high school

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church, but had to decide for myself, if this church taught true doctrine. I have prayed and have a testimony of the truthfulness of the church. I have tested the admonition from the prophet Moroni in the Book of Mormon in Moroni Chapter 10: 3-5. I challenge anyone who has an honest desire to know the truthfulness of the Book of Mormon to read these verses and put it to the test. The Holy Spirit will speak peace to your soul and you will know. It truly is the keystone of the LDS religion. You then will know the Joseph Smith was indeed called of God. He truly did the Lord our Savior and his Father. They called him to restore their church back onto earth to restore the Gospel of Jesus Christ to its fullness. This church brings together all the wonderful doctrines of our Saviors gospel. I invite all to investigate and you will see the blessings that await you as you embrace the messages and teachings found in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.,

How I live my faith

I work with the youth of the church. Helping to guide those who may be struggling with various issues or decisions with their lives. I am also assigned as a "Home Teacher." This means I have been asked by the leadership of our local congregation, to visit specific families in our neighborhood. I assess how they are doing spiritually, physically, financially, etc. I am there for them should any needs arise. I also take time once a month to visit and leave a spiritual message with them. Any problems I cannot help with, can be taken to our "Bishop" who is the leader of our "Ward" or local congregation, and he can then become involved to help the family.
