Hi I'm Taryn

I manage a dispatch center at a security company, I love my dog and photography and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am an animal lover and an easy going person. I prefer to have a plan but I can go with the flow when needed. I am a workaholic which can be a good and a bad thing. My activities of choice are playing with my dog, baking, taking pictures and just being outside in the sun. I am the oldest of 4 children. I have 1 sister and 2 brother. I grew up in the LDS church and it is a huge party of my life. I am highly dependant on the Lord in my daily life.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon for many reasons. The most simple and most important of these reasons is because the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the true church on the earth today. If I didn't know that to be true, I wouldn't be a Mormon. I was raised in the LDS church and grew up going to church every Sunday. I was fortunate enough to be born into the gospel and not have to search the earth to find Gods truth. The truth of the gospel has been a part of my being since birth and I know that I could not live without it.

How I live my faith

As I said before, I am a workaholic. Living my faith in my daily life means applying gospel principals to my job. It can be a struggle since my job isn't church related. I start off each day with a prayer asking Heavenly Father for ways I can be an example of him and his gospel at work. I also pray that I can be fair to my employer. I think everyone gets stuck in a routine and it can become difficult to identify when you are taking advantage of freedoms you shouldn't. Another way I live my faith is by doing all the Lord asks of me. I have multiple assignments in the church that require time and preparation from me on days other than Sunday. Doing my best to fulfill these assignments shows the Lord I care about him and his church.
