Hi I'm Dennis

I'm an engineer - Lean Consultant, a husband, father, and a Mormon.

About Me

I help companies improve how they manage. I enjoy helping people make processes better. I love to spend time with our children and now our five grandchildren. We also have four chickens that we keep to get eggs and protect us from scorpions. We enjoy camping and I love to fly fish for trout. I have lived in Florida, Missouri, Colorado, Indiana, Thailand and Arizona.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints - a Mormon because I have, through study, prayer and obedience, found it to be the only source of true happiness in this life. That happiness comes by knowing that Jesus Christ is our Savior and Redeemer. I have felt His and our Heavenly Father's love and blessings many time in my life. The Holy Spirit has witnesses to me the truth contained in the restored gospel of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I served a mission in Thailand where I was able to teach the truths of the restored gospel. I now serve as the executive secretary in my ward. In this capacity I help schedule appointments for the bishop and organize various leadership meetings. I serve an average of 10 hours a week. Before this responsibility I was the stake employment leaders - and spent about 10 hours each week helping people find employment. I have served as a cub scout leader, Sunday School teacher, and youth leader. These callings always take many hours each week, but bring much joy while serving others. In all my callings including my two year mission I was not and would never expect to be paid for my time. Yet, I have received great blessings from the Lord for serving Him.
