Hi I'm Andrew

I grew up in San Antonio, TX. I am a student and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in the northeast San Antonio, Texas area. I have two younger sisters. I served a two-year mission for the Church in the baltic countries of Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania, where I shared with people the message of the restored gospel in the Russian language. I am currently engaged to the love of my life, Krystal Cain, and look forward to our upcoming marriage this December. I am in college and am trying to get accepted into nursing school. I want to be a good provider for my future family. My hobbies include working out, studying languages, and listening to a variety of music.

Why I am a Mormon

Although I was born and raised in the Church, I can truly say that my testimony is my own. I have had experiences that have led me to question my beliefs and through prayer I have received the comforting reassurance that God is real and that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is His true church. I have read the Book of Mormon and know that it is the word of God and that Joseph Smith was a prophet. I also know that anyone can find out that this church is true by reading the Book of Mormon and asking God in humble prayer whether or not it is true.

How I live my faith

I strive to keep the Lord's commandments but often fall short. When I mess up, I try my best to take the necessary steps for repentance. I also read the scriptures and listen to the words of the modern-ay prophet and apostles and try my best to apply what they teach to my life. One of the fundamental doctrines of the Church is that of progression in this life and in the next. Therefore I always strive to improve myself in many different ways so that I can become more like Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
