Hi I'm Becky Dalton

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mother of 5 and I love my children. I am a grandmother of 11 beautiful little children. I love my husband and am glad that we found each other. Again - I deeply love my family- I am uplifted to know that through effort and God's plan of happiness we can be together forever. And I am a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

I found the church when I was 15 years old. I have gone through a rough time in my young life that saw my family break apart and eventually all of my 6 siblings end up scattered and raised in foster care. During this time and even before I had always felt a desire to know who I was as it pertains to God. Before the foster home I had gone to several different churches. I loved reading the Bible and always felt that there was something more. I had been praying earnestly that I would be sent to a religious foster home. My prayers were answered and I ended up in an Mormon home. During discussions about faith I learned that the religion offered so many answers to questions that my young self had wondered about. I took the lessons from the Mormon missionaries and found continued answers. You may think that at 15 I just may have been impressionable, but in reality the Spirit confirmed the truth of the Book of Mormon and other teachings to me. I am a Mormon because it makes sense to be so. I have found happiness in so many ways, I know that Jesus Christ is my Savior and the Lord has not stopped speaking via revelation to His children.

How I live my faith

Being a Mormon is not a Sunday only religion - it is a lifestyle. I pray daily; try to read scriptures; and to know the things I should do to help others and myself gain confidence in the word of God. It is becoming second-nature to me. I serve in the Primary program that teaches younger children within the Church. I have also held other callings that allowed me to work with both adults and youth. In each of these callings I have grown as I attempt to serve others. I believe that love is perfection, and I know our Heavenly Father and His son Jesus Christ love each of us. I strive to love others more because of that. I work hard to improve - yet I know that I still have a long way to go. But I believe the effort is worth the price. I testify that God and His son Jesus Christ live and know each of us as individuals. They have helped me as they have led me quietly along in my life.
