Hi I'm Ammon Weser

I am half German, half American. I'm a returned missionary from the Czech Republic. I am an aspiring composer. I'm a mormon.

About Me

I am an aspiring film and musical theatre composer. I enjoy writing music and stories. I love comic books. A lot of conversations I get into are kind of nerdy. Spiderman is my favorite superhero. I love studying Religion. My father is German and Mother is American. I am the oldest of six children and we have one dog, a golden retriever. My family lives in Utah while I am studying in Chadron, Nebraska.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church, but when I was about 15, I decided it was all stupid and didn't want anything to do with it. I still believed in God, and deep inside I wanted to have answers, but I didn't feel like I really had anyone to talk about it with. I started to not make the best decisions, and in my mind I thought that God did not want to hear from me because of those decisions. With time, I felt very alone and depressed, but I have a testimony that Heavenly Father never forgets about His children, even if we forget about Him. He sent people in my life to help me to get my life in order and back on the right track. One of those people is named Aaron Perez. I met him my senior year. He was a special ed student, and I'm not quite sure how we met, but for some reason he took a liking to me and invited me to have lunch with him and the other special ed students. I said: "sure why not." After that, what was just supposed to be a one time thing ended up being something that I did every day for the rest of the year. These kids really helped soften my heart because of their love and light they had about them. I had many experiences, too many to list, but I'm truly grateful that I met Aaron and that he invited me. My heart was softened to the point, that I decided to say a prayer one night to know if God was there and if he loved me? That night, I was filled with peace and I knew that He loved me, no matter what I had done, because I was a child of God. I know God loves all of His children, no matter who we are, or what we have done. I know also that He is always watching over us. This experience gave me the desire to serve a mission. A year afterwords I was called to serve as a missionary in the Czech Republic. I loved that time and it is very special to me. I'm grateful to know that I have a Heavenly Father who is playing and active role in my life and is always there when I need Him.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to be the best I can in all I do. I live my faith by trying to love everyone and seeking opportunities to help. I live my faith by being happy.

What do Mormons believe about Jesus Christ? Do Mormons believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God?

Ammon Weser
We believe that Jesus Christ is the living Son of God. He suffered and died for our sins and conquered death by the resurrection. He is our savior and only through Him can man be saved. He is our loving older brother who knows how to help us in every situation thanks to His atonement. Show more Show less
