Hi I'm Lauren!

I love all sports, especially soccer and track. I love being with my family and friends. Oh and im a mormon!

About Me

I love to be with my family! My dad and i are best friends! I play soccer almost all day everyday, and he is always there to support me. I have a goal to travel most of the world and that has gotten somewhat fulfilled, from when i went to spain for a soccer tournament. I love school, dogs and pretty much any sport! I find service one of the most important ways to find yourself through others. Im a freshman in high school and love life!

Why I am a Mormon

Being mormon is not just going to church and saying "I'm Mormon" its being the person that you know you can be through Jesus Christ. I know now that through christ and his example that i am one of his missionaries and that i was sent here for a distinct purpose, which im not sure of but i know that through the grace of this gospel i can and will find out. I know that christ has an outreached hand always, and that it is our choice to grab it and be humbled enough for help. I know that being who I am effects those around me. I know happiness is a choice and that choice effects EVERYDAY decisions. I'm mormon, and am overjoyed to say it!

How I live my faith

I participate in my church by attending church on sunday. I absolutely love seeing new faces and cannot wait to meet them. Puting life in perspective is truly based on who you are around and surrounding yourself in the church can really mold the person you can become. I love being in the presidency for mia maids in Young Womens, Which means that i reach out and plan activities for Mia Maids (young women in the ward from the age 14-16) and set up regular meetings. I love being surrounded by the amazing faces of truth and love! I love being mormon.

What is a “testimony” that Mormons speak of?

Having a testimony is a belief that you feel, giving spiritual witness by the holy ghost. The base all sprouts from heavenly father and Jesus Chirst. The feeling of knowing can change lives, just as it has changed mine! Show more Show less
