Hi I'm Bob.

I'm a physicist and enjoy amateur radio. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in the LDS church but had to learn through concept and experience that true happiness comes from living Heavenly Father's commandments. I am a husband, father, and grandfather and love the blessings that each brings. I am a scientist by education and experience but recognize the hand of God in all that I have, all that I am, and all that I can become. After I retired from industry I had the opportunity to teach in a high school for four years. Young people are wonderful and a joy to be with. I now enjoy serving family and friends in companionship with my wife. My hobby is amateur radio and finding ways to assist in emergency situations.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born a Mormon but like all people had to learn how to live by correct principles. Especially important to me is my testimony of the reality of my Heavenly Father, His only-begotten son, Jesus Christ, and the influence of the Holy Ghost in all that we do and learn. Jesus Christ willingly gave His life so that we might live eternally in their presence. The principles of the Gospel of Jesus Christ are the only sure guide we have in this challenging life. I would be adrift and hopeless without this knowledge. In my scientific way I recognize the fullness and consistency of all I have learned as a member of the church. There is nothing of importance that has not been done and revealed to God's children so that we can return to His presence. This is vital for my happiness and peace-of-mind.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being true to the covenants I have made with God and trying to follow the example of service that Jesus Christ set. I endeaver to be a loving and faithful husband, father, and grandfather. I try to serve those around me by using my talents and capabilities to bless lives. In these difficult times I assist the unemployed in finding jobs. I use my understanding of mathematics to tutor my grandchildren and special children in a local school. I look for opportunities to use my amateur radio skills and equipment during times of emergency. Christ said that if we do things for others then we have done it for Him. Above all I want to be true to our divine heritage.
