Hi I'm Stephen.

I'm a Mormon. I grew up in the West. I have been married for 35 years. I have five children and 13 grandchildren.

About Me

I have been married for 35 years to a wonderful woman. We have 5 children and they are all married. We have 13 grandchildren. I enjoy working in our greenhouse and I enjoy working with wood. We just bought 4 miniatures Hereford cattle. My new hobby is cooking. I am building an outdoor kitchen so that I can do more of that. My wife and I love to travel and see new places. Going to New England is our favorite place to visit.

Why I am a Mormon

My grandparents and great grandparents on both sides of my parents came west with the pioneers and they settled here in this area. I was raised a Mormon and and my parents were great examples to me as I was growing up. As I grew I developed a testimony of my own. When I turned 19 I decided to go on a mission. On my mission I saw many lives changed. I knew what I was teaching was true. The more I taught the stronger my feelings were and the stronger my testimony grew. The 2 years I spent teaching about Christ made me realize how important families are and that the Savior loves each one of us. I believe in Temples. I believe in eternal families. I believe that we can be a family for eternity. I believe in the Bible. I also believe in the Book of Mormon. They both teach of Christ and teach us to be better people and stronger families. I know that by living Christs' teaching and doing the best that we can He will bless us and our homes. I believe in miracles, I believe that Heavenly Father listens to our prayers and answers them. I believe that we have a living prophet on the earth today that leads us as did prophets of old. I am grateful to have had the church in our lives as we raised our family. We are like most families. We have struggles and we learn by them. We become stronger and we become a better family.

How I live my faith

I am a member of the school board, I work with the Varsity scouts in our Stake. I teach a lesson every 4th Sunday at our church. I work in the Snowflake Temple every week. I go home teaching to families in the ward every month.
