Hi I'm Michael

I'm a dish-washing husband, a fun Dad, a process improvement geek, a baker, a mountain biker, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am married to the greatest woman in the world. We have four energetic children. I work in the continuous improvement industry, teaching, writing and researching the process improvement methodologies of Lean and Six Sigma. When I find time for myself I spend it on two fat tires and a whole lot of dirt, rock, or air beneath me… Mountain Biking.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a Mormon my entire life. My parents taught me the principles of the restored gospel and I learned of their truth at an early age. I continue to be an active member because I know the Savior lives. I know we have a prophet of God on earth. I know the Lord has restored His church in our days. Because I have learned that these things are true, living the gospel as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, makes me happy.

How I live my faith

I have spent many years working with the youth in my community. Leading Boy Scouts on outdoor adventures as well as teaching Sunday school classes full of rowdy teenagers. I am currently teaching bouncy class of nine year olds. I never cease to be amazed at the talent and faith the youth.
