Hi I'm Pate

I grew up in Tonga. Married now, and going to school. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to go to school. I served my country for seven years. I love to read and catch fish.

Why I am a Mormon

The reason why I'm a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is not only because I was born into it, but I have a strong testimony of the gospel, and I know it's true. I've read the Book of Mormon page to page over and over again many times and it's a tradition for me; when I finish, I simply start back up again and again. I enjoy it and everytime I start reading it again the second time around, I always find something new, something I didn't notice that it was there before. The Book of Mormon helps me draw closer to my Heavenly Father. It has helped me with important and difficult decisions I've faced. Reading it and understanding the principles taught in it, helps me focus in school, as the Spirit whispers ideas into my mind and heart, and points the direction to where my thoughts should be.

How I live my faith

I say my prayers day and night, and actually everytime in my mind. I pray when I'm at school, on my way to school, when school is over, I pray after I receive blessings, such as a 100 on tests and homework assignments. I pray everytime before I eat. Every Monday morning, I held family home evening. I don't drink, don't smoke, keep the law of chastity, don't steal, or lie. I go to church on Sundays. I love my wife.
