Hi I'm Sylvia

I was born in Utah Live in Washington with my family I drive a School bus and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm married and a mother of 5 I love to read, sew, and do genealogy. I like walking and hiking with my youngest daughter and our little American Eskimo dog. I also like to ride my bike, and grow vegetables in my back yard.

Why I am a Mormon

My maternal grandparents were introduced to the "Mormon Missionaries" in Hamburg Germany. My grandmother loved the church hymns she heard when she went to church with the missionaries. She was converted to the gospel and the church and met grandpa through church activities. They raised their 8 children in the church. They wanted to come to Utah so that the family could be "sealed" together in the Salt Lake Tample so that we would be a family forever. My mom and dad met also through church activities in Germany and had 4 children in Germany then another 3 children when they came to America. I love the fact that we can be a family forever I love my family so much even though we now live through out the US. I was raised in the church with my family and lived off of my parents testimony but as a teenager I read the Book of Mormon for my self and prayed to God to know if it was true. I received such a strong wonderful feeling in my heart that confirmed that the Book of Mormon was definitely true and a second witnes of Christ

How I live my faith

I love to go to church every Sunday. I get to teach the young children wonderful songs about the teachings of Jesus Christ. A lot of the songs I teach, teach the children different gospel principles. Every time we sing these songs it reminds us of how we are supose to behave or live. I also get to go visit three other ladies in my church on a monthly basis and see how they are doing. If they need any help they know that they can call on me for help.
