Hi I'm Andrew

I grew up in Sandy, Utah I am the youngest of seven children. I have a wife, 2 children and live in Gilbert, AZ and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy the outdoors and nature, I grew up hunting every year with "the boys" of the family and just loving being around one another. I played cometitive soccer from an early age which gave me a drive and the courage to get outside of my comfort zone. I live my life for my wife and children they are my world they are what keeps me going each day. I Manage an office for a large Geotechnical Engineering firm I fell into the career by luck and have loved it ever since. It challenges me and keep me interested to the constantly changing world of construction. I love the to interact with people and just have a good time weather it be watching a football game or coaching my daughter in soccer it is all about those we surrond ourselves with to elevate us to the level we want to be.

Why I am a Mormon

As a young man I struggled a lot with the who am I where am I going and for what questions. I was born and raised in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints but it did not make it easier. I knew my parents knew why they loved the church I just didn't for myself. My senior year in high school I got really involved with seminary and started "living" the principles more fully I had always been taught. The church gives me a a firm place to stand and hold on to in this ever changing world, it is a constant breath of fresh air that I love and appreciate in my daily life. I know without the church I would have continued down the path I was on to who knows where doing what I can't imagine would be much good. The church is true I know that God and Christ himself created it and for that I will always be thankful.

How I live my faith

Over my church services I have had the joy of serving in many capacities and that is the great blssing of being part of the church. It forces you to step outside of your comfort zone and let others into your life which is what we all need. Most recently I have been teaching a class of 5 and 6 year old children but most of the time I truly feel as though I am the one that comes away learing the most whether it be a childs simple question to a very serious subject or just interacting with the children on a weekly basis to help me lift my sprits and remeber what life is all about. I often strive to serve others as much as I can by helping a neighbor move or helping someone fix something or whatever it might be. Reaching out to others and serving and helping is truly how Christ lived and I strive to live my life.
