Hi I'm Brea

I am half canadian, recently married, tap dancer and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am one of those kids who was the skater, band geek, and dancer in high school. I don't skate very much anymore, and havent found very many opportuntities where a group needs a marimba player, but dancing is something that will never leave my everyday activities. I am a tap dancer. I am not very gracefull or smooth so I found its the best type of dance for me. I take tap classes in college right now so soon i can be a beginning tap teacher. You will always find me tapping down the isles of the grocery store to music in my head. I am the oldest of six and was recently married in the Mesa, Arizona temple making our large family even bigger. My youngest sister is 3 and i have played a big part in raising her as my parents are away at work and providing for our loving family, which has helped me in preparing to be a mother someday.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born a memeber of the church and though I learned at a very young age that I am a daughter of God and he loves me very much, I did, foolishly, fall away. The world seemed to make more sense than the mysteries of God. I am on of those people who always has to know the exact reasons for things or it doesnt register in my brain which is difficult when it comes to the gospel. Then important things in your life starts to cumble in your steps and you wonder to yourself 'why me?', but i knew the answer. I just wasnt willing yet to admit my wrongs. Then i met an amazing man and if I wanted to marry him or even date him, I need to change some things. I with his support and the support of my family, I grew stronger and stronger. I came back to church, I repented, and I kept myself clean so I could make that next step in His gracious plan for me. WE were married and sealed in the temple for time and all eternity and i have never been so happy. The gospel gave me the stability and encourgement i needed to overcome my faults. I am so greatful for the faithfulness of my dear husband so he could help pull me out of that terrible ditch. Every woman wants security and peace and the church gives me just that. That is why I am a mormon

How I live my faith

In my old ward before we moved I taught the 3 year olds in church. It was pretty tough but i tell you what, I leaned so much from those children. When one would be quiet and sit still, they would follow. When one was roudy, the rest did the same. I learned that i needed to make an example of the quiet ones and tell the children that they were behaving like jesus. Teaching the lessons became so much easier and they started answering more. Sometimes they would even be the ones reminding me that we needed to pray at the start of class, or remind me that i needed to read my scriptures that night. They became and example to me.
