Hi I'm Andrew

I love climbing rocks, yo-yo like a pro, and research the crystalline structures of metals in my free time. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I'm a brother to three younger sisters who I love a ton! Our family loves to spend time rock climbing, fishing, hiking, and enjoying the grandeur of nature. My dad and I enjoy yo-yoing and have a great time sharing this hobby with others. I'm at a prestigious university where I'm studying to be a mechanical engineer. I hope to someday use my degree to help make the world a better place. I love learning and love life!

Why I am a Mormon

I strongly believe in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I've received repeated confirmations from the Holy Spirit that this Church is led by a living prophet and that through him, the Savior guides this Church today. This is one major reason I've decided to be a Mormon. The Gospel answers the questions I have in my life and drives me to be better. It brings me great joy and reminds me of my divine potential as a child of God. I believe that the Book of Mormon is scripture given from God and that Joseph Smith Jr. was a prophet called of God. I'm especially grateful for the opportunity I have to enter the Temples and partake of the peace, comfort, and guidance offered there.

How I live my faith

I live my faith in how I act. I strive to live as the Savior would have me live and contstantly remember that I am a child of my Heavenly Father and have the potential to become as He is. I share this knowledge with everyone around me and try to be an example. I want all people to have the opportunity to find the joy the gospel has brought me.

What is the priesthood?

The priesthood is a great blessing to me. It is literally authority given from God to act in His name. The trust that He has placed in me as a priesthood holder is tremendously humbling. Holding the priesthood helps me to better serve others as Christ would. Show more Show less

How can I find someone to talk with, in person, about the Mormon religion?

Any member of the Church is willing to talk to you about their religion! I, for one, love sharing the gospel with others. Missionaries are available all over the globe to teach you more about the gospel. Members worship every Sunday and visitors are always welcome. What is faith?

For me, faith is simply trusting in our Heavenly Father and in His son Jesus Christ. Trust implies more than just believing, it involves action. You have to act to place trust in something. The great thing about trusting our Heavenly Father is that He is always there. The more faith or trust we have in Him, the more He can respond and help us. Show more Show less
