Hi I'm Benjamin Padgett

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I graduated in May of 2011 from ASU with a BA in Political Science. I love to spend time with my wonderful wife who is pregnant with our first child. I come from a family of six children. I was born into this church and I have a firm testimony that it is true. I served as a Spanish-speaking missionary for the church in Washington DC and Maryland from 2005-2007. I plan on attending graduate school in the very near future.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into this church. When I was fourteen years old, I decided that I wanted to find out for myself the validity of this church. I put to test the challange in Moroni 10:3-5 (in the Book of Mormon) to read the scriptures and ask God if it came from Him. The Holy Ghost confirmed that it is true and I have been a faithful member ever since with the knowledge that God wants me to be strong in His gospel.

How I live my faith

I read the scriptures daily. I pray daily. I try live a Christian life and be kind to others. I serve the youth in my congregation as one of their religious leaders and also on week-nights as their scout leader in the Boy Scouts of America program.
