Hi I'm Camille

I am a college student with a passion for languages. I am a vegetarian. I am a kid at heart. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a student in my last year of college (of the undergraduate variety at least). I love studying different cultures and languages.

Why I am a Mormon

Although I was raised a Mormon, there came a point in my life where I knew that I either had to figure out if this church was right and live it completely, or quit going. I tend to reason every thing out, and that is how I started. I reasoned that there must be a God because it didn't make sense that anything as wonderfully complicated and beautiful as this earth would call itself into existance. If there is a God, there must be more to human existance than merely this earthly life- there must be a before and after. The more I reasoned things out, the more I realized that the doctrine of this church makes sense. But more importatly, it feels right. I feel happy when I am living what I believe. I am a Mormon because I believe in truth.

How I live my faith

Living my faith is about being a good human being and living and loving as Christ would. I try to be a good friend, keep a positive attitude and avoid gossip. I like to help people out whenever I can through baby-sitting, homework help, or giving rides. In the church we call each other "sister" and "brother" because we are all part of God's family. With that in mind, I try to love everyone as much as I love my immediate family (which is a lot!).

What is the Mormon lifestyle like? How do Mormons live?

We live like people! We have friends, jobs, and hobbies. But we also attend church on a regular basis, pray and read scriptures daily, always striving to become better people. We avoid unhealthy habits like drinking or smoking. Show more Show less
