Hi I'm Courtney

I am a sophomore in high school, a lover of life, and I'm a mormon.

About Me

I am a sophomore in high school, I love to take pictures and make memories. During the school year I play on the girls rugby team. I love laughing, and I think puns are one of the greatest things ever. I have moved 5 times in my 15 years, and ended up in Indiana for now. I am the youngest of five kids, and I'm super close to my family. My mom and older brother are two of my very best friends. I love to make other people happy and its something I strive to do on a daily basis; even if its just a hello, smile combo. I try and live my life to the fullest, because I know that I can have a big impact at this time in my life. I love my Heavenly Father and my Savior with all my heart, and who I am is deeply rooted in the relationship I have with them.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the gospel, and into an active strong family. Without my siblings, I wouldn't have the testimony I have today. I am a Mormon because the gospel brings me true happiness and joy. I know that Joseph Smith was a living prophet and that he restored the Gospel to the Earth. I know that Thomas S. Monson is the true living prophet today. I know that Priesthood Power is real, and the power of it works miracles through the Lord. I know that the Book of Mormon is truly the word of God. I know that Jesus Christ knows and loves me personally, and that he suffered for my sins and gave us all the gift of repentance. I know that families can be together forever, and that we can live with our Heavenly Father again. I know that I know that the Gospel is true. I love it so much and I see how it blesses my life in little and big ways daily.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by arising and shining forth every day. I follow the standards that are set for me in The Strength For Youth, and from the guidance of the Prophets. I try and always find the positive in everything that comes my way. I study my scriptures daily. I participate in early morning seminary, which gets me ready for each day of school. I go to church every week to feel the spirit and to partake of the Sacrament. I pray daily for all things. I'm constantly try to be more like Jesus Christ, and to be the best I can be.
