Hi I'm Vinny Muggeo

I love football, running track, spending time with family, I love my Savior Jesus Christ, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am 22, my parents are devorced, but they have remarried. I was born in Athens Alabama hospital, I now live in Huntsville Alabama. I grew up in the LDS church. I have 2 sisters that are both 7, Makena and Megan. I have 3 brothers, Jacob which is 16, Brandon is 17, and Alex which is 8 months old. I love to play sports, and I love to hunt. I played baseball as a little boy, but stopped playing before high school. I went to A.P. Brewer High School for all four years of high school. I ran track for my high school while I was a junior and a senior. I made state both years, and allstate for the 300 meter hurtles my senior year. I played football for 12 years. I was pretty good I guess. There were a few colleges that were interested in me. One of them was BYU. I never took that chance to play for BYU and a regret not doing it. I am currently serving a 2 year mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I am serving my mission in Salt Lake CIty South. I have decided to attend BYU after I finish my mission, and hopefuly play football for them. I am very grateful for the chance I have to serve my Savior Jesus Christ. I love my family very much, and I am very happy where I am in life.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church. I was baptized when I was 8. I have always known that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints was true. I have had many trials in my life, just as everyone else has. I learned to stay faithful and to never think that there was no hope. I believe everything happens for a reason. No matter how difficult it may be, you should never lose faith in our Heavenly Father and think that he is just picking on you. We are to learn from the things that happen to us now and in the past. These hard times are to test us and to see how we deal with the problems we have. I have learned all of these things, and promise you that our Heavenly Father and our Savior Jesus Christ love each and everyone of us, and would never want to hurt us. Only they know what is best for us. I love my church and I now it is the restored church of Jesus Christ back on the earth. I believe Joseph Smith is a prophet of God and restored this church that I am a part of today.

How I live my faith

I desire to serve my Lord all of my life. I am on a mission at this time, to bless other peoples lives. My Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ have helped me all of my life and I decided to pay some back by serving a 2 year mission to Salt Lake City South.

Why do you have 12 Apostles? They were just meant to be around for the time of Jesus Christ, not to be replaced with new apostles.

Vinny Muggeo
When Christ established his church on the earth He set it up a certain way. The apostle Paul indicates that Christs church was built upon the foundation of apostles and prophets. (Ephesians 2:19-20) We believe God is the same yesterday, today, and forever. If He is always the same then the true church would have the same organization as Christs original church was. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the only church in the world that is built upon prophets and apostles, and has the priesthood authority. That is what I am a part of today.
