Hi I'm Michelle Walsh

I grew up Northern Virginia. I'm a Mom, Wife, Daughter, & Sister. I work from home. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a work-at-home Mother of two boys (ages 3 & 1). I own a virtual real estate assistant business. I love to plan & host parties! I love wearing flip-flops year-round. I love quilting, family history, cooking, shopping, and tickle fights with my boys.

Why I am a Mormon

I love what the church teaches about families! I know that raising my family in the Gospel is the most important thing I can do in my life. I am comforted time and time again by the knowledge that my family will be together for Eternity.

How I live my faith

I serve in the Women's Organization presidency. I plan activities that teach our Sisters new talents and strive to help them grow their testimonies in Jesus Christ. More importantly, I teach my Sons how to be Gentlemen and Men of Faith! Praying, Reading Scriptures, and plenty of quality family time is how I teach my family.

Can you tell me about Mormon customs: how you dress for church, what holidays you celebrate, etc.?

Michelle Walsh
I always wear a dress or skirt to church. I make sure my clothes have sleeves and go down to my knees. My husband wears a dress shirt and tie with dress slacks or khaki's. My boys (age 3 & 1) wear suits, khakis, cords, button up shirts or nice sweaters and nice shoes (not every day tennis shoes). The church encourages everyone to dress their best. For some women that might be dress pants. Just do your best! We celebrate Christmas, Easter, Thanksgiving, Birthdays, Anniversaries, New Years, Valentine's Day, July 4th (USA), Pioneer Day (Celebration of the Pioneer's arrival in the Salt Lake Valley), Labor Day, Memorial Day, Halloween and so many more!
