Hi I'm Kelsey Havig

I'm a wife to my best friend. I'm a hairstylist, I love to craft, decorate, and blog.. and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a manager and hairstylist, and I love it! helping people look their best is a very rewarding career. I love to craft, scrapbook and decorate. I love being a homemaker. I married my Prince Charming in Feb. 2011, and I'm loving everything about married life. We don't have kids yet, but I can't wait for that day to come. My family is the best. We all get a long so well and I don't know where I would be without those amazing relationships. I love taking pictures and blogging about our adventures as a newly-wed couple.

Why I am a Mormon

I've grown up in the church. I was taught all about Heavenly Father's plan for us, and was baptized when I was eight. During my teenage years, I continued to go to church and through the programs for the youth, the amazing leaders I was blessed to have and my own personal study and prayers, I started to gain my own testimony of the truthfulness of this gospel. It has grown to be a foundation on which I live my life. Being an adult can be hard, and having the Gospel and the standards I live by as my rock has helped my get through some of the toughest challenges. I have felt the power of repentance work in my life and I have no question that my Heavenly Father loves me. I love the promise that families can be together forever. I recently lost my older brother. He was one of my closest friends and it broke my heart to have to say goodbye. But knowing that I will see him again makes it easier for me to deal with that loss in my every day life. I know this Church is true. and I'm so glad I can say that I'm a part of it.

How I live my faith

My husband and I serve as Ward missionaries. We have the missionaries over for dinner and they tell us how we can help investigators in the ward. Sometimes it is as simple as making cookies and getting to know them. aside from that, I live my faith by example. I work with people and I get questioned about my faith a lot. I'm never embarrassed to say that I live a healthy, happy life because of the church's standards. I love going to the Temple, and church meetings to feel that wonderful peaceful feeling that I know can only be the spirit.
