Hi I'm Kelsey

I'm a wife of four years. I'm a student of Archaeology. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been married for four years to a wonderful and loving man. I am so grateful that through Heavenly Fathers plan I can be with my husband for time and all eternity! I am also a college student finishing up my undergrad and preparing to attend graduate school. In my spare time, I enjoy reading (especially Fantasy), sewing and designing dresses, singing, travelling and spending time with my friends and family.

Why I am a Mormon

As a student of archaeology, my focus is on uncovering burials and learning about the people within. I love the idea of discovering those who have been forgotten or lost. In the scriptures, Christ always makes an effort to recognize and show compassion to those who where invisible or forsaken to the rest of the world; in other words, the forgotten. Christ loved everyone regardless of their background or social standing. I too believe everyone is deserving of His love and I have found that all encompassing love in this church. I am a Mormon because I know that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is God's church. I am a Mormon because as a member I have always felt His love and have never felt forgotten or forsaken no matter how many trials I have faced.

How I live my faith

Currently, I serve as a teacher and youth advisor for 16-18 year old girls. It has been wonderful to watch and help these beautiful, strong young women grow up knowing that they are daughters of their Heavenly Father. I also enjoy singing in church meetings. I feel that music has an immense power to invite the Holy Ghost into the hearts of a congregation. Finally, I participate in genealogical work. We believe it is important to find and know your relatives and ancestors so that you may have the opportunity to be with them for eternity. I try to see everyday as an opportunity to live and share my faith. I love being a Mormon!
