Hi I'm Arlin

I'm a Mormon. Born in Washington and raised in the northwestern United States, I work as a Facilities Manager.

About Me

I am Married with 4 Children and we have 10 beautiful grandchildren. I went to high school in my hometown, then served a 2 year mission to Spain teaching about Jesus Christ and his plan for his children. After I got married I went to vocational school while working full time, it was hard but helped me get a better job. I enjoy riding off road motorcycles, gardening and living in the country. My family means everything to me. I am striving to be a disciple of Christ and I hope to become more like him everyday.

Why I am a Mormon

As a young man in my late teens I did believe in God and I felt like Jesus Christ had lived and walked the earth, I just did not understand what that had to do directly with me, it seemed long ago and distant. I had been a Mormon from Birth but I did not really have a personal conviction of of what Jesus wanted me to do or become. I spent a year searching and studying and praying. I wanted to know what to do with my life. It was not a single event that changed my life but the more I worked to understand God and His plan for me, I felt like I was getting to know the story of his Son. Over time I felt the Savior's mercy in my life and I wanted to share that with others. These feelings of my Redeemer's love and mercy helped me as a missionary, as a husband and father and with every challenge I have had in my love. I am grateful to my Father in Heaven for the powerful gift of His Son

How I live my faith

I have had a variety of assignments in my congretation. I have taught Sunday School on several different occasions both in an adult and youth class. My latest assignment is to work with the eleven year old Scout Patrol.
