Hi I'm Jetaun

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in a family of eight in Phoenix, Arizona. I have been married for 29 years and have five great children (who amaze me every day) and five wonderful grandchildren (and still counting). We love to go on hikes, eat ice cream, and play games together. My husband and I own our own business and I really enjoy organizing and managing the bookkeeping end of it. I like to sew, bake, play the piano, cross stitch, learn about nutrition, and watch old movies. I finished my college degree 33 years after I started.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I believe that the gospel of Jesus Christ is so basic, simple, and logical that I can't imagine living my life any other way. In Isaiah 9, he says several times: "...but his hand is stretched out still." That really motivates me knowing that He is always there for me, even if I've messed up. It's very humbling for me to know that Jesus Christ took upon him all of my sins, heartaches, and pains so I can repent and be clean again. I love reading the scriptures and learning from the examples of past prophets, leaders, and nations. I am inspired by their integrity and confidence.

How I live my faith

Currently, I work with the Young Women at church, ages 14-15. It's fun to learn about their lives and what they think. I often volunteer for my children's school activities and organizations. I try to help out whenever I can. I have made some really close friendships serving with other women in different capacities--at school and church.
