Hi I'm Jenny

I like to bake, go camping, run when I get a chance, and be with my family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a stay at home mom. I enjoy spending time with my 3 boys riding bikes, playing ball, drawing pictures, reading stories, playing hide and seek and giving piggyback rides. I love and look forward to going on dates with my husband each week. I love going camping and sleeping in a tent. I love to bake and have fun trying new recipes.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because I have always felt comfort in following the gospel. I have a strong testimony in the Atonement of Jesus Christ. I know he came to this earth to take on the sins and infirmities of all of us. I know that with any trial or hardship we may be going through, we can turn to Him and He will give us the comfort we specifically need. He went throught it all himself and understands exactly what we are going through and how we are feeling. I know the Atonement of Jesus Christ can heal us if we have faith and accept it. I am grateful for the priesthood in my life. I have had numerous experiences where it has blessed me personally along with my family. I also know that families can be together forever and that is why I chose to be married in the Temple to my husband. I know the Book of Mormon is true. Each time I read it, I have a peaceful feeling and I can find answers to the problems and questions I am having in my life. I am grateful that Heavenly Father has given us prophets as his mouthpeice to lead us in the world today. I find peace as I live the gospel standards and follow the example of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I am a leader over the women in my ward. I help in organizing monthly activities where the women meet together to visit and learn things that will help them in their role as a mother, wife and sister in the gospel. I also enjoy visiting with several sisters as I check on them and give them a spiritual message each month. I love being at home raising my 3 boys teaching them gospel principles, scripture stories and how they can prepare to be future priesthood holders by beginning to live the gospel at an early age. I also enjoy having one night a week where we focus on spending time with our family singing songs, playing games and learning more about the gospel. My boys look forward to it every week. I love practicing self-reliance by learning how to store and use different food, bottling fruit, vegetables and meat, baking bread, and planting a garden. The garden doesn't always turn out, but we do enjoy eating what we do get out of it. I love making meals for different families in our area who need it due to an illness, having a new baby, or just moving in, etc.
