Hi I'm Chris Guerra

I was born and raised in Oregon, I'll be a film major someday, I'm a missionary in São Paulo, Brazil; and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm an artist at heart. I draw, paint occassionally, work with photoshop, sing, dance, spar, write, speak, shoot--as well as edit--videos when I can, and I want to become an actor or move into some other film industry. I was the third child in my family to be completely homeschooled until I was 16 when I spent the next four years getting my associate degree. I'm a blackbelt in the American Tae-Kwon-Do Association. And I believe I am the first Eagle Scout of 2009. I served a mission for the church in Jackson, MS until I got my Visa to go to Brazil, where I'm serving now.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in this Church and have spent my whole life wanting to follow the example of my father and my older brothers. I have come to personally know the freedom God gives people when they use the Atonement of Christ to pick themselves up and start over. This IS a life of second chances in which our purpose is to progress and align ourselves with Christ's example.

How I live my faith

Before my mission I taught Sunday School for young single adults. I liked the feeling of bearing my testimony and presenting lessons in a way that the other members hadn't heard before. Along with the calling of Sunday School Teacher I gained more confidence in teaching and being animated to keep others involved in the lessons. I live my faith by showing it even in times of pressure.
