Hi I'm Joe

I love being a dad and a husband. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am going to college. I am pursuing my career goal to become and Industrial/Organizational Psychologist. I spend a lot of time analyzing people's motivations, so I figured this would be a perfect way to go. I am in my Master's program for that and will start my PhD in 2014. I am a dad and a husband. My wife and I have been married for 9 years and have two boys. I am interested in technology and like to read tech news to learn about the newest gadgets.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of my inquisitive mind. Although I was raised in the church, I have had questioning periods in my life. I am not afraid to examine or to test my beliefs. Through art and literature I have gained an immense appreciation for what man can accomplish on his own. I am amazed at the man made innovations that make our lives more convenient or entertaining. I am deeply inspired by nature and the cosmos. However, above all of this wonder is the beauty of our Heavenly Father's Plan. I believe that our Heavenly Father has created a plan that allows us to use our agency to bring us happiness. This agency is evidence of our Heavenly Father's love for his children.

How I live my faith

I help organize Sunday School teaching assignments and fill in as a substitute Sunday School teacher as I am needed. This gives me an opportunity to see the perspectives of people of all ages. I love it. I also help in the men's organization with community service activities and helping move in and out of the neighborhood.
